How it works
How to shorten an Amazon link
Three steps, and nothing to install.
Paste Amazon links
Copy a product link from the address bar or the Share button. Paste one, or a whole list.
Get the short form
Each link is cut down to the store and the product ID, like amazon.com/dp/B0ABCDEF12, as you paste.
Copy and share
Copy one link or all of them. The short link opens the same product page as the long one.
What gets cut
Everything but the product
An Amazon link copied from search results can run past 300 characters. Almost all of it is tracking.
Product name in the path
The long slug like /Adjustable-Desk-Lamp-Brightness-Settings/ isn't needed. The product ID is enough.
Search and click tracking
ref=sr_1_3, crid, qid, sr, sprefix, dib and keywords record how you found the product.
Page layout tracking
pd_rd_ and pf_rd_ parameters record which widget or carousel the link came from.
Associates link extras
linkCode, linkId, language and ref_=as_li_ are dropped. Your tag= stays if you want it to.

Yes. Amazon's own short form is /dp/ followed by the product ID, and it opens the same product page. If you picked a specific size or color, its ID is the one in the link, so the short link opens that variant too.
Yes, by default. If the link has tag=yourtag-20, the short link keeps it. You can also type your tag in the box to add it to every link, or untick the option to remove tags. Check Amazon's Associates policies for where you post links.
Those are already short. To find out which product they point to, a link has to be opened, and this tool never sends your links anywhere. Open the short link once, copy the full address from the address bar, and paste that here.
All of them: amazon.com, .co.uk, .ca, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.jp, .in, .com.au, .com.mx, .com.br and the rest. The short link stays on the store you pasted, so a UK link stays on amazon.co.uk.
It's free with no signup. Links are shortened by code running in your browser and aren't sent to Tabhive's servers or saved anywhere.
They have no product ID, so there's no /dp/ form. The tool removes their tracking parameters instead and keeps the search terms, so the page still shows the same results.
