How it works
How to remove tracking from a link
Three steps, and nothing to install.
Paste your links
One link, a list, or any text with links in it: an email, a doc, a spreadsheet column.
See what was removed
Each link is cleaned as you paste. Under every link you can see exactly which trackers came off.
Copy or open them
Copy one link or the whole clean list, or open them all in tabs with the bulk URL opener.
What gets removed
Trackers this tool strips out
Only parameters that exist for tracking come off. Page IDs, search terms, video timestamps and anything else the page needs to load stay in the link.

Added by marketers to see which email, post or ad sent you.
- utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content and every other utm_ tag
- mtm_ and pk_ tags (Matomo)
Ad click IDs
Tie your visit to the exact ad you clicked.
- gclid, gbraid, wbraid, dclid (Google Ads)
- fbclid (Facebook, Instagram)
- msclkid (Microsoft Ads)
- ttclid (TikTok), twclid (X), li_fat_id (LinkedIn), rdt (Reddit)
Email trackers

- _hsenc, _hsmi (HubSpot)

- igsh and igshid (Instagram)
- s and t on X
- share_id (Reddit)
- ref= and pd_rd_ / pf_rd_ on Amazon
Redirect wrappers
Links that pass through another site first. The tool pulls out the real address.
- google.com/url and Google AMP links
- l.facebook.com and l.instagram.com
- Outlook Safe Links
- LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Slack and Steam redirects
Text highlights
Added by "Copy link to highlight" in Chrome and Edge.

Cleaning links to keep them?
Save them somewhere you can find them again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. It's free, needs no signup, and has no limit on how many links you paste.
No. The cleaning happens in your browser. Your links aren't sent to Tabhive's servers or saved anywhere, and they're gone when you close or reload the page.
It's the part of a link after the ? that tells a website where you came from, such as utm_source=newsletter or fbclid=IwAR... The page loads the same without it. It only exists so someone can measure or follow the click.
Yes. By default the tool only removes parameters that are used for tracking and nothing else, so page IDs, search terms and video timestamps stay. The Remove all query parameters option is stricter and gives the shortest link, but links that need their parameters, like a YouTube video's v=, stop working.
Click IDs. Facebook adds fbclid to links you open from Facebook or Instagram, and Google Ads adds gclid when you click an ad. Each one is unique to your click, so the site can match your visit to the ad or post that sent you.
si is a share identifier YouTube adds when you use the Share button. It lets YouTube connect the person who shared a link with the people who open it. Removing it doesn't change the video or the start time.
No. Finding out where a short link goes means visiting it, and this tool never sends your links anywhere. Open the short link once, copy the full address from the address bar, and paste that here.
Install Tabhive, open Import from the profile menu, choose From OneTab and paste the list. Tabhive accepts one URL per line, so the copied list works as is. The links become a group you can search and reopen. The free plan holds 50 saved tabs.
