Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. It's free, needs no signup, and works on as many links as you paste.
No. The links are built by code running in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to Tabhive's servers or saved, and it's gone when you close or reload the page.
Paste the link, or the text it's in, and choose Links in text if it's inside a paragraph. Then click Copy as clickable links and paste into Google Docs, Word, Gmail or Outlook, or copy the HTML or Markdown for a website, README or forum post.
In List of links mode, put the text on the same line as the link, like Pricing - https://example.com/pricing. The tool uses whatever is on the line besides the link and trims separators like -, | and :. You can also use the link itself or just its domain name as the text.
It adds target="_blank" so the link opens in a new tab, plus rel="noopener noreferrer" so the new page can't control the one it was opened from.
Use rel="nofollow" for links you don't vouch for, like paid placements or links in user comments. It tells search engines not to pass ranking credit through the link. Links you'd recommend can stay normal.
Anything starting with http://, https:// or www. A trailing period or comma at the end of a sentence is left out of the link. Bare addresses like example.com are only picked up in List of links mode, so words like file.txt in a paragraph don't turn into links.
Install Tabhive, open Import from the profile menu, choose From OneTab and paste your links one per line. They become a group you can search and reopen. The free plan holds 50 saved tabs.
